Simple Pleasures Farm is located on the grounds of Lake Allatoona Inn. The farm offers overnight horse lodging, horse boarding and hunt seat riding lessons. It also houses a variety of farm animals.
The boarding and overnight lodging facility offers 12 x 14 matted stalls. The barn has a wash rack, tack room and feed room. There is currently about 9 acres of pasture available for the boarding horses. Full and partial board, both of which include a stall, are available. There is a 150 ft x 50 ft. covered riding arena equipped with jumps. Owners can bring their own trainers if they would like. |

The owner's daughter Wendy has ridden, taken lessons and shown horses 14 years out of her 21 years of life. She has been instructed through the years mostly in hunters but has also done some dressage, showmanship and team penning. Wendy has shown mostly American Quarter Horses and has done a few Quarter horse shows but mostly open shows, hunter shows, and 4-H shows. She has ridden under and been trained by many Olympic riders. She has also ridden under AQHA judges and trainers many of whom were top riders in the AQHA circuit. Look for Wendy showing our filly, "Sky's Blue El Dorado". |


| The horses that are owned by the farm are American Quarter Horses. Currently there are two mares. The first mare is "She'z Huntin' For Fame" a Grey mare bred for western pleasure and performance. Her sire is the world champion "Huntin For Chocolate" This mare has a hugh step and is a beautiful jumper and has become Wendy's huntseat show horse. She is bred for a 2011 foal out of the stallion "Alotta Luke." Last but not least is the appendix Filly called "Sky's Blue El Dorado" whom was bred by the farm. She is out of the thoroughbred Cremello stallion "El Dorado" and out of a"Sky's Blue Boy" daughter. This filly is a tall beautiful golden palomino bred for huntseat or dressage. One of her grandfathers is a AQHA world champion huntseat horse and the other was an FEI dressage horse known as "Glitter Please". The farm also owns a miniature donkey named Polly. | ![]() |
